Layout Switcher
Typed a whole word only to see "ghbdtn" instead of "привет", or "руддщ" instead of "hello"? Layout Switcher notices it the moment you finish the word, fixes it and switches the keyboard layout for you, so you can just keep typing.
How it works
- Finish a word with Space or Enter. If it is clearly typed in the wrong layout, it is replaced and the layout is switched.
- Press Tab within five seconds to undo a correction.
- Press Tab right after a word (or right after its Space) to convert it yourself; press Tab again to switch it back.
- Recognition follows the spelling rules of Russian and English, so normal words and mixed-language text are left alone.
Privacy
Only the keys of the current word are kept in memory and discarded as you move on. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is sent anywhere: no internet connection, no telemetry. Read the privacy policy.
Requirements
Windows 10 (1809 or later) or Windows 11, x64, with the Russian and an English keyboard layout installed.
